“We look at the odds. We, the people is the favorite coming in at two to one Skippy long stocking, 20 to one nest eight to one moving right along red strike who took home the Derby, 7-2. Jeremy, who can realistically win this thing? Who can realistically take it home? You look at odds and all factors. I'm tossing two horses right out of the gate. I'm tossing Skippy Longstocking and Golden Glider. I don't like Skippy Longstocking in this race in general. And Golden Glider... They're finished, I believe, 10 lengths behind We the People and the Peter Pan, which for me was a glorified allowance race. There was nothing in that race. I mean, let's be honest. There's no stars in that race. If We the People gets to the front, obviously he's a player because he's alone speed in the race. If nobody contests him in the first quarter, he gets alone, starts loping along, goes 24 in the first quarter, 48 and change in the second. He could run away with it. I see that scenario as the only scenario he wins, to be honest, because I don't think this horse likes to get dirt kicked in his face. You go back to the Arkansas Derby, broke from the nine post and nobody goes outside. There's only nine horses in the race. Nobody to his right. Could not get clear. Brat couldn't get him clear of the three horses to his left. Dropped him back in behind him. And that horse did nothing in the Arkansas Derby. He did not fire. I believe he finished seven. Wasn't even in contention the entire race. That horse has to get to the lead. He has to or else I don't believe he wins the race. Mo Donegal is the horse for me right now. I hope his odds drift. I believe he's five to two right now.”

“I'm going to keep it simple as well. I'm just going to flip it. I'm going to go with early voting. I just think that Chad Brown angle, skipping the derby, coming in with a fresher horse who can get this distance. I'm a bigger Jose Ortiz fan. And I just think at some point, this horse epicenter, he will bounce. Maybe it won't be this race. I'm going to use him in my exotics. I like simplification, early voting, epicenter, and secret oath in an exact box. I think you can put them all together in a big number. You're probably going to have that combination. But I'm going to go with early voting across the board as my top pick. You're just getting better value. If he finishes top three, if he finishes second, I'm going to get money for second and third. I'm going to get my money back, basically. I'm going to make a little bit of a profit. If he wins, then we're in a better position. But I'm going to stick with early voting and hope he can pull off the win.”
