And Ben Wittenstein, when he was on with us earlier in the show, laid it out like when the Pacers have poor offensive nights they bounce back really well and I think that's going to be the case tonight you look at the games that the Pacers have covered with ease and they've scored 125, 121, 126 if they're if they're scoring and if they're going to cover a win they're going to score up into the 120 so getting over 110 and a half I believe it's at 111 and a half right now I would still be fine taking that that's my favorite play in this Pacers box game yep i'm on team total but i'm on the other side of the team total with the other team not necessarily the other side i'm on the milwaukee bucks over one and a half 105 and a half for a lot of reasons you talked about i think that we're going to see a greater pace it's going to be driven by the pacers um i think that's going to help milwaukee i think their offense has been looking a little more efficient understanding how to operate with portis and middleton being the focal point Dame Lillard's presence tonight there's a little bit of a wrench in that but I'd rather have Lillard on the floor than not if I'm taking the team total over so I like the Milwaukee Bucks I also like a player prop in this one um I like Siakam under 22 and a half points you look at the last three games you know have all been in the team 17 13 points respectively I don't think he gets the 22 and a half I think that number is way too high Zach has had some, he had two good games, really good games early to start this series. And then it was Miles Turner that took over for games three and four. And then everyone kind of had a bad game in game five. So we'll see who bounces back in game six tonight. Nixon Sixers, Mark. And if we need to, this can kind of bleed over into the next segment, because I know you have an NHL bet to get to as well. And we can do that early in the next segment. But Nick Sixers, you have some futures on the Knicks, so you don't have any official plays on this game. If you were to play a side in this one, the model says take the Sixers minus three. I'm leaning towards the Knicks plus the points. Where do you stand? Yeah, I think it's tough to lay points with the Sixers here in this spot. Can they win the game? I think he just, he played every minute of last game and overtime. He's going to be on the floor a ton and he's all over the place. Like he's their hardest worker. He is the part of the team. “Yeah, I don't know if I'm going to bet the first game. I already bet the Mavs to win the series and I think that the best way to attack it When I look at these first round games I want to see how the first game goes and then you can kind of play off that But I always like if I feel comfortable, a team's going to win this series, especially if it's a four or five, the odds are pretty even. I got the Mavs at minus money, but you know, it was small, it was a real tight line. So I think they are going to win the series. I think when you look at Dallas and just their form towards the end of the year. Really solid defensively. They've been playing great. And the key part about Leonard's injury here is he has to be a big part of slowing down Luka Doncic. He has to be. That's the only way the Clippers can win this series if his Leonard is at a peak performance defensively. And if he's hobbled, then is he going to be able to give 100% on the defensive end, where I think the Clippers need him most in this series? Because if Luka's able to do what Luca wants to do, it's going to be all Dallas. And I think that, you know, that that's a likely outcome. I'm with you. I also bet the Mavs to win this series. I didn't bet the series spread or anything, but I took the Mavs just outright to win this series. And the line actually flipped the Sixers opened the Sixers,”

“just back to the in-season tournament with the Lakers. They won that tournament, obviously the inaugural one, but LeBron James pretty much willed the Lakers to a win. So you give them these just one game sample size, again, like to your point, not a full series, the play-in or the in-season tournament, one game you move on or one game and you lose, you're done. And LeBron James basically willed the Lakers to winning that tournament. And so, yeah, in this one game sample size, I tend to lean towards the Lakers here as well. They dominated the Pelicans in the paint in that last matchup, 68-42 in the paint, led by as many as 32. They also beat the Pelicans by 45 earlier this season. And that was, I believe it was the semifinals of the in-season tournament that these two teams met. But I would say a portion of the blame on New Orleans in both of those games in which they were just blown out was effort. They got punched in the mouth early and just couldn't recover. And they came out flat. So I have to imagine that they're going to come out a little bit better tonight, knowing that their season is on the line. I don't necessarily know why you wouldn't come out like that in every game. But again, I mean, a long season, sometimes it happens. But you have to believe they come out stronger tonight. And I think that line kind of reflects it. Like this is a Pelicans team that again has lost by 30 plus, by 40 plus to this Lakers team. And they're a one point favorite tonight. So I think we get a much better effort from Zion Williamson. Brandon Ingram, this is his second game back from injury. So I would imagine he plays a little bit better, but I'm with you. I have to be on the Lakers here as well. Getting the points, take them on the money line. I think they win this one. I would also look at the over to 224 and a half. three of the four games against these between these two teams this season went over. Lakers play at a fast pace. Both teams are top 12 in pace over their last five games. Lakers are averaging 120 points. I mean, that right there nearly gets you over 224 as long as the Pelicans can score, what, like 105 then? That means great quick math on my part here. So yeah, I would look at the over here and I would look at the Lakers winning this one and moving on to play the Nuggets in the first round. But Mark, all across my TV today, tons of talk about should the Lakers throw this game,”

“Caleb Williams, Drake May, Jane Daniels, JJ McCarthy, they're all, I mean, you never want to say lock or anything like that in betting, but likely to be in the top 10, likely to get a fifth in the first round. Betting the over four and a half quarterbacks first round, I'm comfortable with that. I think I've heard a lot of people say there could potentially even be six in the first round. Is that something that you'd be willing to bet into? I don't know. I wouldn't just because I don't know. I think it's very likely because team like Denver out there that needs a quarterback. But after the four, I really think that there's a pretty steep cliff. I know, you know, Denton came on, was talking about Michael Penix Jr. And listen, I loved Michael Penix Jr. in college. I don't know if I like him at the pro level. Like, I don't know if that's going to translate. Denton obviously has seen much more than Michael Penix Jr. than me, probably has a better grasp on it. But it's just hard. I just feel like when you get into a specific class, when you get down to like the fifth, the sixth guy, It just makes it really difficult, you know, for those guys to make it. The Bo Nix, I don't think his game translates at all. So I think after that four, it might be – maybe it is the second round before those guys go on the board because if you're a team like Denver and you have a top wide receiver in front of you or you can address a different position, you know after those four quarterbacks go, there's not a lot of other teams that need to draft a quarterback. So you don't have to draft Bo Nix or Michael Pennix Jr. in like the middle of the first round because there's no market for them. Like no other teams are really looking for a young quarterback after Minnesota goes and gets theirs. It's pretty much Denver's hanging out there. Like who else would draft the quarterback in the first round? Yeah, that's a good call. Maybe the Raiders? Maybe like the Raiders trade up? Yeah, but you could also, I mean, based on what you're saying, like you're completely right. The Raiders could wait until their second round pick at 44 and take a quarterback. Right. I mean, you have to pay him much, much less, you know, like when they draft them in the second round, like they don't have to pay them like a first round pick. Right. And over at bed MGM right now, the Raiders are the favorite plus three 80 to take first team to draft, to take Michael Penix jr. but that doesn't mean it has to be in the first round, right? It's just the team to draft him, not the Raiders first pick. They could take it with their second pick in the second round. So yeah, I might be there with you. I like the over four and a half quarterbacks. I'm not sure I like the over five and a half getting to six. Mark, you have a couple draft bets that you have put in already.”
