Isaiah Pacheco Over 11.5 Rush Attempts
“Give me Isaiah Pacheco to go over 11 and a half rush yards in this spot here. So you look at Isaiah Pacheco and you look at this Chiefs team and what have the Chiefs really tried to identify themselves, honestly, for the past few seasons? And it's the fact of, hey, we're not just Patrick Mahomes. We have a lot of other pieces on this team that do really, really well for us. Our defense is really, really good. We can establish the run game and we can continue to keep the run game going in games So you looking at a line of 11 and a half for Isaiah Pacheco which is actually very interesting because in a lost season that he had last year where he broke his leg and then came back towards the end of the year trying to give them some type of spark for a Super Bowl run And in the first two games, he goes over this line of 11 and a half. In his long game against the Chargers, he goes over this line in 11 and a half. In fact, if you look at the Kansas City Chiefs, you realize, oh, wait, they were trying to establish the run all season long. You look at these game logs, 15 rushes for Pacheco, 19 rushes for Pacheco. Pacheco gets hurt in week two, jump to week three. They give Carson Steele the bulk of the carries. Carson Steele goes 17 rushes in that game. Then you go to week four. Kareem Hunt is now a part of this team. Kareem Hunt has 14 rushes, 27 rushes in week five. They have a buy in week six, week seven, 22, 21, 27, 14, 14, 16. Then you come back. They didn't get a rusher over 11 and a half rush attempts in week 13. But what happened? Isaiah Pacheco was back in week of 14, and he has that 14 rush game against the Los Angeles Chargers. I say all that to say last season, the Kansas City Chiefs star running back, whoever got the bulk of the carries that week, went over 11 and a half rush attempts in 13 of their 17 games. Opposed on the other side, look at the Chargers, where we're like, the Chargers have this great defense and all of this, this, that, and the third. And it was very good last year. Yes, it was. But the fact is that teams were still running the ball on them. Out of 13 of their 17 games, did they give up a rusher with 11 and a half rush attempts? And so I think that this is a spot where it's going to be some really, really good defense played by the Chiefs. I think the Chiefs have been stirring since that loss in the Super Bowl all this time. They're ready to get into it. Isaiah Pacheco is healthy this season. He had a full offseason to actually recover from breaking his leg. And now he's healthy. And I'm expecting him to turn back into Isaiah Pacheco that we thought two years ago was a top 10 draft pick in fantasy and a really, really good running back in the NFL. I think they're going to give him a bunch of carries. So I'd like Isaiah Pacheco to go over 11 and a half rush attempts.”
