Patrick Surtain II to be the first cornerback drafted

um i do feel like he's going to be the first corner because he's just a little not that
not that horn isn't valuable but certain is clean like he's clean all the way across the board horn
has some there's some issues not off the field but he does have some things that
might concern some teams here we go again with talking yourself out of guys but
Sertain is clean, nothing to worry about. So I feel like he'll be the first corner.”
Jaycee Horn was the first cornerback drafted, at No. 8 (Carolina), one spot ahead of Patrick Surtain II at No. 9 (Denver), so Surtain-as-first-CB lost.
Kwity Paye to be the first defensive lineman drafted
“I think that I got one best or first D lineman, the Michigan pay.
I took him as the first D lineman drafted over Phillips from Miami only because once again,
pay is clean. Phillips has a concussion history and concussions scare teams away.”
Jaelan Phillips was the first defensive lineman/edge drafted, at No. 18 (Miami), ahead of Kwity Paye at No. 21 (Indianapolis), so the bet lost.
DeVonta Smith to be drafted in the top 10
“This has been fun.
So I put some stuff in last week a little bit.
Matt, you're making me smile because I took Smith to go top 10.
That was one of my – I feel like somebody's got to take him.
I know it's going to be hard with that weight.
I mean, you are betting against – I mean, he is – history says no.
But he was so talented, and I just feel like somebody will take a shot
on that talent.
But this will be fun.”
DeVonta Smith was drafted 10th overall by Philadelphia, inside the top 10, so the bet won.
Elijah Moore to be drafted in the top 32 (first round)
“Oh, Elijah Moore, the receiver from Mississippi, to go in the top 32.
I put him in a week ago and got good odds at that.
Those odds have changed drastically, so I thought that was a good play.”
Elijah Moore was drafted 34th overall (Round 2, New York Jets), outside the top 32/first round, so the bet lost.
