First period exact score 0-0
“And so I like the 0 after the first period today because I just think both these teams first of all Carolina had a very easy path and they haven seen a team like this So I think they be you know toe in the water kind of stuff try to make sure that they like the temperature before they start taking any
risks and Vegas will sit back and enjoy that too.
So I could see this one starting pretty slowly.
Both goalies have been in good form too coming in.”
CAR 2, VGK 1 (1st period); final VGK 5, CAR 4 — Carolina led Vegas 2-1 after the first period of Game 1 of the 2026 Stanley Cup Final on Nikolaj Ehlers's two goals and a Shea Theodore reply (Vegas won the game 5-4); the '0-0 after first period' bet loses.

“I do like Florida tonight, though, from a betting standpoint.”
9-3 — Vegas Golden Knights beat Florida Panthers 9-3 in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final to win the series; the Panthers moneyline lost.
Same-game parlay: Michael Amadio, Anton Lundell & Alex Pietrangelo each to score a goal
- Michael Amadio to score a goal won
- Anton Lundell to score a goal lost
- Alex Pietrangelo to score a goal lost
“what will your your same game parlay be but then I have a follow-up sure uh three goal scorers uh
Michael Amadio on Vegas he's like plus 460 uh Anton Lundell on Florida he's five plus 550
and Alex Pietrangelo on Vegas.
He's 7-1.
I think they're all worth it.”
In Golden Knights 9, Panthers 3 (Game 5): Michael Amadio scored a goal (won leg), Anton Lundell did not score (lost leg), Alex Pietrangelo did not score (lost leg, though he had assists); parlay needs all three legs to win, so it lost.
Flyers to finish with worst record in NHL (+1200) · FanDuel
“[7:55] That's when you as a better kind of get the signal of, all right, let me jump back in.
[7:59] Don't forget, this team has won or came in second in its respective division in 14 of the last 16 seasons.
[8:06] The fact that everyone's jumping off the ship is a little surprising to me.
[8:10] All right, let's now go to another future we like.
[8:12] This one is kind of the opposite.
[8:14] We both like to bet against the Philadelphia Flyers in terms of season-long futures.
[8:20] They're 12-1 to finish with the worst record in the NHL at FanDuel.”

DJ Smith to win Jack Adams Award (+5000)
“[32:06] hype. Yeah, I completely agree. I think matching the hype is going to be tough. I know we both have
[32:13] a couple of plays on the Senators we like, but yeah, some of the main areas like the team total
[32:18] over and to make playoffs, I think are fairly weak bets that might actually be somewhat common
[32:23] amongst the public right now with the perception of this team So yeah I think there are still just enough question marks that for me I not overly sold on them as a unit And that being said the way that we both like to
[32:38] invest in Ottawa in case that, you know, this thing just clicks and they do take that leap forward
[32:42] is Derek, excuse me, is backing DJ Smith, the head coach to win the Jack Adams award. You can
[32:49] find him 50 to one out there. And it's just correlated to their playoff odds. If they're”

Derek Lalonde to win Jack Adams (Coach of the Year)
“[35:51] But I think that has a lot to do with how the hype has been covered with these two teams a little bit.
[35:56] The Red Wings have been simmering while the Senators are boiling.
[36:01] But once again, favorite bet on the board is Derek Lalonde.
[36:05] He's a rookie head coach.
[36:07] If he brings a team like the Red Wings back to the playoffs after missing for, I think, six years in a row, he'll be the favorite to win the award.
[36:13] And they're around 3-1 to make it.
[36:15] So instead of bending the three to one on Detroit to make the playoffs, if you are interested in that, just take Lalonde at a much, much bigger number to win coach of the year.”

Spencer Knight to win Vezina Trophy (+17500)
“[51:20] Their forward depth is good.
[51:22] The defense core could just be a disaster.
[51:25] But if they are good, again, they come close to a hundred points.
[51:29] That probably means that Spencer Knight has a great season and he won't be
[51:33] 175 to one as the season goes on.
[51:36] So I like Spencer Knight to win the Vezina as my favorite Florida Panthers
[51:40] bet. And like I said, triple digits out there. I think anything above 75 to 1 is great. So 175”

Tampa Bay Lightning to win the series (+230) · FanDuel
“And honestly, even if they lose game two, I'm not going to panic.
Like you go into an 0-3 hole, maybe.
So I actually like Tampa on the series line.
We talked about this online change, which is our NHL betting podcast with me and my colleagues, So Money Sports, that if you're going to bet Tampa in game two, you might as well also take a shot on them to come back and win the series.
Because if they win game two, they flip the script. It's home ice advantage for the Lightning, for the best of five series now.
So this team, they're going to be around. Colorado is a different beast from maybe the Rangers, but the Maple Leafs were a really good team all season.
Like people thought that they were the third best team in the NHL behind
Colorado and Florida. They already beat Florida.
Then they already beat Toronto. Like they can hang with this team.
So I'm not worried yet at all.
And I would encourage if you were to ask me a bet on Tampa to come back.
So it's plus two 30 right now,
a fan duel Tampa to win the series. I read.
So would you like better Tampa plus one,
plus one and a half for the series at plus one 16 on a fan duel?
No, I would, I would just go, go for them to, to win the series.
take the price. You mentioned the Rangers. During the Rangers lightning series,”

The Oilers were beaten by Colorado 4-0 in the Western Conference Final; the Avalanche went on to win the 2022 Stanley Cup, so Edmonton did not win it (Wikipedia).
Edmonton Oilers -1.5 (Game 2)
“I think we got to get your final picks.
Where are you landing?
Who's going to win?
Give us your best odds.
Give us the team you think is going to win.
and give us the team that you sort of think has the most future value.
Well, first, I'm going to use this time to pat myself on the back
for betting the Calgary Flames before the season, 45 to 1.
They're, I think, third favorite.
They're that team you couldn't remember.
I don't know if you even know that that team exists, honestly.
They're Calgary Flames.
Dude, it's Calgary.
And number one.
Number two, I will never forget the Calgary Flames
because when I was growing up,
back when they didn't wear helmets playing hockey,
the Calgary Flames made the Stanley Cup.
I think it was like the mid 80s.
And, you know, this was when Youngblood came out.
And so my friends and I, you'll see how cool we are.
Like at lunch, we would do fake hockey fights
and like pull each other's jerseys over our heads.
And someone inevitably pretended
they were playing for Calgary.
that's how we got all the ladies yeah senior year sounds like it was fun chad
this might have been like freshman sophomore year and we'd say like we'd be like yo you want to go
pretty boy because that's what they said to rob low right let's go pretty boy and then like he had
to prove it to cynthia gibb who you know got a little naked in the uh in the in the barn there
and those were the days when we were loving hockey.
Youngblood has probably done more for hockey
than any sports movie in the history of sports movies
has done for their particular sport.
What a launching pad for careers.
Rob Lowe, Swayze, was it Keanu Reeves was in there?
So like, God bless that movie.
But yeah, the Flames, I think the Flames are the team
that I would pick to come out of the West.
But in turn, and then I like the Bruins
to come out of the East.
And I think the Bruins,
they've lost game one of their series.
They're plus 170 right now in the series line, and they're still around 20 to one to win the Stanley Cup.
The Bruins are really, really good.
People just haven really been paying attention to them much because the other three teams of their division kind of just ran away from them right out the gates And so they were kind of just in the spot in there that they ended up in the first wild card spot all season So they were very uninteresting from a narrative perspective
but their underlying metrics are quite good.
They have the playoff pedigree,
great defense and the goaltending failed them last night,
but for the most part,
the season has been above average.
So I like Boston from a future's perspective.
I like Edmonton from a future's perspective at 18 to one now that they've
lost.
I like them on their serious line.
minus one and a half.
I like the minus one and a half in game two.
They're a team that can get separation really easily.
So those are the teams I'm targeting mostly in terms of future value is
Boston and Edmonton,”
6-0 — Edmonton beat Los Angeles 6-0 in Game 2 of their 2022 first-round series on May 4, 2022, so Oilers -1.5 covered by 4.5 goals (Wikipedia).
Bruins to win Stanley Cup (+2000)
“Give the folks a little bit of an actionable takeaway here.
Our favorite Stanley Cup future that still available as we look forward to the game ones on Monday night Nick I going to start with you What teams on the board right now would you be interested in betting if you going into this tournament without a future in your pocket So if I was going in with nothing I would still have the abs at plus 375 on my list that I
would play. I just think they're the best team in hockey by a decent margin. They have a pretty good
path coming out of the West compared to all the elite teams in the East. So I just think with how
strong they are, they're still going to win the cup more at a high enough clip that we have some
value at plus 375. I know it's not a lot of fun to make the square cakes in hockey, but I definitely
think we have a good one here with how dominant this avalanche group is. Yeah, I can see the path
here. I thought if Colorado had caught Dallas in the first round, it would be a little bit tricky
spot, but with Nashville and David Riddick instead in round one, it does give Colorado probably the
easiest round one matchup in the West. I like the Bruins. I've been talking about the Bruins a bunch
since February, and they haven't really moved since that time. They were 22 to one. You can
find them at 20 to one at most books right now. Boston leads the NHL this season, once again,
in expectables against and high danger chances prevented. So it's a team that their goaltending
will be called into question. Linus Olmark and Jeremy Swayman as a tandem will be playing their
first playoff ever. I mean, Swayman got a cup of coffee last year, but Olmark's been with the
Sabres for so long. So he hasn't made the playoffs. It will be all Mark, his net to lose to start,
but the defense just does such a good job of making like easy in front of those guys that
I don't think it's a huge deal. And if Boston gets to do that round one matchup, then they'll play
Pittsburgh or New York rather than Toronto or, you know, or excuse me, or rather than Florida
in round two, getting through the Toronto series. So their path is open. They just got to get through
that significant hurdle of Carolina. Nick, I know you're interested too in Boston, a team that is
near and dear to you as well.
For sure.
I definitely think they should be right there with the other,
with the Carolinas and some of those other Eastern teams.
They've been so good in 2022.
Yeah, I just, and I think head to head,
that top line is going to win so many of the matchups,
which is huge.
Like I think even when we look to this Carolina series,
I think Bergeron's still going to get the best of the Ajo matchup.
And I just think,
especially if the power play can get clicking a little better,
which we've seen historically from this unit,
so I definitely think there's a lot of upside with the Bruins.
Yeah, and they're coming into the playoffs, I think, 6-6 in the last 12,
so I think that is kind of why this number is still out there even though their underlying metrics have been really good in that stretch Like you getting a team that is flying under the radar a little bit and ended up you know just so happened to end up in probably the best spot
I was a little not to try to drum up this narrative. It might not be a thing, but I was a little suspicious of the resting everyone in a spot where they could have still theoretically moved up the standings and they sat everyone and played a pretty terrible game.
So I don't know. I'm not trying to say maybe they wanted this, but it didn't seem like they're really trying to push and get that third spot in the final game.
Yeah, I mean, I think if you look at all the playoff, you know, the seedings, not including Colorado and Florida finishing on top of the division, but the Rangers and the Bruins, I think the Metro 2 and the Wild Card 1 ended up being probably the best places you wanted to be.
Boston's there, 20 to one like them. All right, let's bring in Pete here. Anybody you think is a
potential sleeper that can upset the apple cart here in the 16 team tournament, Pete?”

Bruins to win series (-105)
“That's Carolina.
I was a little surprised here too,
with the way this opened minus one 15 as a short,
short favorites against the Bruins minus one Oh five.
I thought they would flip.
I thought the Bruins would be a slight favorite considering what Pete was
just talking about.
Freddie Anderson being out for Carolina. They'll go with likely Antti Ranta or their rookie goalie
Peter Koczekov. In the series, you could see both, but the same could be true of the Bruins
with Linus Holmark and Jeremy Swayman. I made the case for the Bruins off the jump. This is an
incredible defensive team, and they got stronger defensively at the deadline with Hompas Lindholm.
Him and Charlie McAvoy may be the best defense pairing in this kind of metro bracket now in terms
of two-way play, right?
Like we know that they can score,
but defensively, boy, they're tough to play against.
And that is huge against Carolina,
a team that the offense drives the bus, right?
Second in terms of generating expected goals
and high danger chances at five on five.
So we're getting strength versus strength here.
I like Boston on the series line.
I like Boston, their game won, their even money.
And like I said, I like them 21 to win the cup.
I'm gonna be investing in a bunch of different ways
on the Bruins before this tournament starts.
So I'll be on the Bs here.”

Blues to win series (+130)
“It's been the Blues and Wild, St. Louis plus 130 on the series line.
Minnesota's minus 150.
They have home ice advantage here.
But Minnesota, two, five, and four.
So two wins out of their last 11 against St. Louis in their last two seasons.
I don't think you should bring these head-to-head matchups that you should weigh them too much,
but there will be exceptions to every rule.
This perhaps is one.
Maybe the Blues just match up well against this team.
The game won odds, Minnesota minus 140, St. Louis plus 120.
Some models, I would say a lot of sharp people are all over the place on the series.
A lot of people really, really like Minnesota, like Pete, and a lot of people really, really
like St. Louis, because I think the numbers for both teams kind of skew the perception.
And with St. Louis, it comes down to how healthy has this team been for most of the season? And
the answer is not, they've always been missing a key piece and they're so deep. And that depth is
so important, especially up top to their success that now that they are healthy going into the
playoffs and they have three lines that can basically play against anybody in the NHL.
I think St. Louis is more than worth the plus 130 price here on the series. And I think that
they're another team that I would say, if you're going to back them here, I think they can pull
one over on Colorado. I think that they're just so deep going forward. They can, if you have one
weak link on your, of your forward line, the blues are going to find it and they're getting good
goaltending from Ville Jusso. Jordan Binnington has a playoff pedigree. So if they have to go,
whatever way they have to go there could be an advantage. So I think St. Louis is an attractive
proposition across a number of different ways. And another team that I'll be backing in a different
way later on in the show too.
So I'm going to be backing St.
Louis plus one 30 I be probably betting them on a game by game basis in this series Pete I know you into the wild so I going to start with you Yeah I mean I think that what we seen from the wild obviously the Caprizov ripple effect”
NHL’s official 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs results confirm Blues to win series settled won as recorded.
Flames -1.5 games (series spread)
“It's really funny how this playoffs is shaken out.
In the East, you're looking at minus 110, minus 110, minus 115, minus 105, minus 120, plus 100.
And then obviously the Panthers line is wider.
But in the West, it's minus 150, plus 130 for St. Louis and Minnesota.
And that is the tightest lined best of seven.
This one, Calgary minus 300 with home ice advantage, taking on the Stars, plus 235.
Nick touched on it before.
I think if Dallas played Colorado, Dallas's kind of wonky game would have matched up better
against Colorado.
And I would have been betting them This is a different beast Calgary is just a relentless five team They come at you basically like no other team in the NHL I think the Carolina hurricanes are maybe the closest comp to them in terms of
just continuing to get the puck below the, the, the dots and going to work.
And Dallas just doesn't set up to perform well against this type of team.
They're so overly reliant on that one line and guys like Miro Haskinen and
and John Klingberg on the back end.
And Calgary, they have the horses to snuff those guys out.
So not too many passes success here.
I actually think Calgary is worth a bet to sweep.
I think Calgary is worth a bet minus one and a half games.
I think Calgary wins this thing pretty quickly, much more often than not.
So I'll take the Flames here on the series spread, minus one and a half.
I believe you can get it at minus 135, minus 140.”
NHL’s official 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs results confirm Flames -1.5 games (series spread) settled lost as recorded.
Charlie McAvoy to win Conn Smythe (+10000)
“Now we'll get into the fun stuff. A couple of Conn Smythe punts here.
One thing I'll say right off the jump, when you're betting the Conn Smythe,
you should try to game theory it more than just saying,
oh, Nathan McKinnon's the best player in the field.
Connor McDavid's the best player in the field. McKinnon's the favorite.
He's 12 to one. He's the favorite because his team is the Stanley Cup favorite.
But if he's, if the, if the Avalanche win the Stanley Cup, he's not,
There so many players on that team that could seriously pop like Kale McCarr Devon Taves Darcy Kemper that he competing against a much deeper field than let say someone like you know if the Penguins win the Stanley Cup it going to be Sidney Crosby We you know Pete I remember going on the NHL Fantasy on Ice podcast last year and saying Carey Price was worth a bet because he was like triple digit odds to win the Conn
Smythe last year.
Whereas the Canadians were 50 to 1.
And sure, the Canadians were a big long shot and it just, they got lucky and got to the
Stanley Cup final.
Yeah, but they weren't going to get there without Carey Price.
And he was going to win the Conn Smythe if they got there.
So instead of betting the Canadians at 50 to 1, go ahead and bet Carey Price at 100 to
one and i think we'll talk about that kind of stuff a lot here um i'll just give a couple of
teams that i'm targeting and then the names that i like so pittsburgh i touched on it crosby's 50
to one the penguins are like 18 between like 18 and 24 to one to win the stanley cup if they win
the stanley cup crosby's winning the consmite um so i like him i think backing the bruins not only
with with future bets but if you are in playoff pools and you you got to kind of stack a team
whether it's a fantasy playoff pool or one where you're just filling out a bracket you'll probably
so many people will get backing the abs and the panthers that the bruins can give you a little bit
of contrarian value and i think if boston does make a run patrice burge around at 60 to 1 charlie
mcavoy 100 to 1 are both interesting i'm definitely gonna bet mcavoy i'm definitely gonna bet
crosby and then for the blues another team that i think has a high ceiling pavel buchnevich
101, Jordan Cairo, 101. I'll probably be backing those two because like the Bruins, if you want to
go into the Western Conference and pick a team that gives you some contrarian value to the Blues.
And one other guy who I think this one, because this is a team that is a likely winner of the
Stanley Cup, not the most likely, but the Calgary Flames, one of the best three teams in the NHL.
Andrew Mangiapane, he had 35 goals a season, second line player behind that top line. So if
that top line uh they'll be dealing with the number one assignment on defense every night
mangiapane has that like ruslan fedotenko brad richards appeal to him he's 130 to one so that's
kind of my short list i'm definitely going to bet mcavoy i'm definitely going to bet uh mangiapane
at 131 and i'm very likely to bet crosby 50 and buchnevich nick who do you got so my first one”

“[43:43] Like BJ said a lot of love is going to go to Senegal in this market looking for a dark horse For me I would suggest you go one step further in Group A and look at ecuador 150 to one right now they playing qatar in the first match if they get those three points these odds immediately slash so you looking at them being a favorite even
[44:01] on the road i think it gets qatar and this is a team that actually has the talent to make some
[44:05] noise in a very soft group they um and they like some qual i think there's there's some merit to
[44:12] world cup qualifying depending on what the setup is and in conmobile there should be some right like
[44:17] this is you're going to places like Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina, you're playing in really,
[44:21] really tough environments. If you get out of the group and you don't even have to play in the
[44:24] playoff as a young team, that shows me something shows me you got a little bit of moxie. And I”

“game in group b is another tuesday at 3 p.m kickoff porto ac milan these teams are basically
it's like a it's a pick them basically between the two of them porto plus 170 underdogs at home
right now at BetMGM and AC Milan plus 155, the draw at plus 240. Bookmakers having a tough time
picking these teams apart. Anthony, are you? I'm not actually. There's a bit of an injury issue
crisis going on here for AC Milan that are starting to pile up. They did have an excellent
comeback 3-2 win against Verona at the weekend that included a penalty and an own goal. A little
bit lucky there. They lost the expected goals battle marginally. And given the fact they were
down most of the match, pretty concerning that they didn't really create a ton of clear chances
in that one. Milan's been really impressive in Serie A. They've won almost every single match
they've played. They have the second best expected goal difference in the league behind Napoli.
It's been an impressive start for Milan, but they've looked a lot shakier in the Champions
League. And they were outplaying Atletico Madrid in that last match, but they looked a little bit
out of their depth against Liverpool, and they struggled to cope once they went down a man and
really gave that game away. So this is a desperation spot for both teams. Both teams need to win. The
Most interesting thing here for Milan is the injury situation.
Mike Mannion, the goalie for Milan, is out.
He had a long injury.
Teo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz tested positive for COVID.
They may not play.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic coming back from injury.
Did feature a little bit over the weekend, but not expected to start.
May come off the bench.
Look at Porto's terrible loss to Liverpool.
It's not the first time Porto's had trouble with Liverpool in Europe.
Liverpool have kind of had their number over the recent years,
pretty much blowing them out every single time.
Don't know what it is about that matchup,
but it's not been good for Porto.
There were multiple goalie errors that led to goals.
It was a lot of fluke goals that kind of came about for Liverpool.
They weren't quite as bad.
Porto wasn't, as the numbers suggest.
They also get Pepe back in the middle of their defense.
Chancel Mbembe may not play.
He's questionable.
But the Porto improved defense.
they'll be able to sit deep and absorb pressure, hit Milan on the counter.
And I really don't think Milan is built to go get a result here away from home.
So I like Porto.
I think they're a little undervalued and I think they were unlucky to not take any points
from their first group match.
So give me Porto on the draw no bet line minus 115.
Yeah, I'm actually going to bet Milan here.
I'm just hoping the AC Milan that we've seen in Serie A shows up in Champions League.”

“they just put three goals on manchester city in their first champions league match who has pretty
much one of the best defenses in the world so i only have psg projected at plus 130 so i'm going
to take rb leipzig plus one and a half at minus 135 and they're probably going to lose 4-1 but
oh well yeah i'm i can't look away from this money line six and a half to one i'm gonna take it this
like you said i think leipzig's gonna score will they be able to get the two or three needed
probably to win this game that's what it's coming down to this game of course is in paris too so
tough to go on the road uh this is a bet that just fills me with dread but six and a half to
one on a really good team or a team that used to be really good not that long ago uh kind of brings up the question of where would this game be priced if it was maybe the opener for this group I don know It definitely wouldn be plus 650 next to Leipzig”

“The 1245 PM kickoff in this group is Barcelona minus 400. They take on Dino Mokiev 10 to one
the draw plus 550. We always talk about betting on teams. Who are you betting on? Do you want to
bet on this team. I'm looking at this one as I want to bet against Barcelona. They make me sick.
I can't get them right betting on in the season because I keep treating them as if they are
Barcelona of past years. They are not. They are not that good. I think they're pretty mediocre,
actually. So if you offered me 10 to 1 against a team that is a paper tiger, a mediocre team that
has just not shown anything, I'm going to take the 10 to 1. So give me Dina Mokiev,
plus a thousand ten to one however you want to look at it they're gonna lose but it's like i just
can't pass up this number against barcelona right now bj what about you”

I like the draw.
I think this is going to be a defensive showdown.”

Winnipeg Jets to win Stanley Cup
“But yeah, I mean, right away, two teams I think are value.
I'm going to start with the Winnipeg Jets because I think you're buying the Jets at a very, very good time, right?
They've been bad for about a month and a half now, but a lot of that has to do with the fact that they've been missing probably their most dynamic player, Nikolai Ehlers.
One thing about the NHL playoffs is teams talk in very cryptic language because they don't want to give anything away to the other team about injuries, whatever.
And of course, betters, which makes our life a little difficult.
But Nikolai Ehlers, they're saying, quote unquote, they're hopeful he's going to be ready for game one.
If he is, he turns the Jets into a completely different team.
He's a great puck transporter.
He's a scorer.
He's a setup man.
He's really like a do-it-all kind of guy.
He's their best five-on-five player.
And the Jets also have the luxury of having one of the best goaltenders in the league backing them up.
So while their five-on-five numbers aren't great, they have a great goaltender and an offense that can pile it up.
So if you put those two things together, you don't have to worry about dominating the possession of the puck because you're, in theory, getting the saves you need and you're scoring enough for those saves to count.
So I like the Jets.
They're hanging around 35 to 1.
That number might go a little bit higher.
They're playing the Edmonton Oilers in round one, who if you watch any sports, you probably know who Connor McDavid is.
I really hope you do know who Connor McDavid is at this point.
He just had a season for the ages 100 points over 100 points in 56 games And there a McDavid mania sweeping the NHL So a lot of people I think are just going to want to be a part of that ride and bet on McDavid in that first round series but
outside of the top of that roster the McDavid Leon Dreisaitl and Tyson Berry and Darnell nurses
of the world the Oilers are not that deep they are very much they're they're beatable team that
they they're goaltending Mike Smith had a good season but I don't trust Mike Smith as far as I
can throw him as a goaltender. He's 37, 38. He's an older guy. He's very mercurial, likes to skate
around with the puck. He's a nut. He's an absolute nut. So I think that there is a path to success
for the Jets, and I don't think anybody is going to be betting on them. So I think that they're
going to be a team that has a lot of value in multiple markets. I think that the series price
is good. I think the price on them to win the North Division mini playoff thing is probably
going to be good and i like i just think that they're they're capable they're they have enough
talent to pull the upset whether or not they're there it's going to come down to with their
goaltender can maybe steal a game or two i believe in connor hellebuck i like them at uh 35 40 to 1
whatever you can get them and then the other team you you know it's coming the new york islanders”
NHL's 2020-21 playoff results show Winnipeg did not win the Stanley Cup.
New York Islanders to win Stanley Cup
“whatever you can get them and then the other team you you know it's coming the new york islanders
20 to 1 like i i as i said i'm if the islanders weren't a good price i wouldn't be suggesting
them i wouldn't want to expose you to this franchise that will make up ways literally
make up ways to ruin your life. Like we had an owner who bought the team. He didn't have any
money. They made a 30 for 30 about it because it was so crazy. This is a team that literally
events ways, not just to lose games, but to almost lose themselves as a franchise.
But they were one of the best teams in the league for a long time in the season. For the first 38
games, the Islanders were up there with the Avalanche, the Lightning, in terms of five on
five play. Their form dipped a little bit after they lost their first line left winger and captain
under his lead for the season, but they brought in Kyle Palmieri, who's getting his feet under him
in Barry Trotz's system. They have a deep enough forward core. Their defense is fantastic. One of
the best defenses in the league in terms of preventing high danger scoring chances, in terms
of preventing teams from getting in the house, in front of the net, the slot, et cetera.
And their goaltending is superb. So that's basically all you're looking for in a contender
is a team that can shut down the opponent's best players, which they can,
and their goaltending.
And I think the Islanders really,
they tick basically every box except for one,
which is that they close the season out
kind of on a down slope.
But that also means you getting a good price on them So I think it worth the risk 20 to one I think is a pretty good bet”
NHL's 2020-21 playoff results show the Islanders did not win the Stanley Cup.
Glen Durrant to win (+3000)
“[1:08:01] in a darts tournament is for chumps. So instead, I'm going to back three players at longer odds.
[1:08:05] First up is my man Glenn Does a Durant at 30 to 1. Does is 50 years old, so he's still in his
[1:08:10] darting prime, and he's spent the last decade or so tearing up the BDO darts circuit. His walk-on
[1:08:15] song is I'm Loving Angels instead by Robbie Williams, which is weird, but if you watch it,
[1:08:20] it's kind of electric. The guy's a killer. 30 to 1. Great number. Lock it in.”

Krzysztof Ratajski to win (+5000)
“Next up is the Polish Eagle, Krzysztof Rytaski at 50 to 1. Not only does he have a nickname straight out of a Tarantino film, but the Polish Eagle can score in bunches and ranks eighth in the world in scoring average. Why he's 50 to 1? I'm not totally sure. This number is ludicrous.”
PDC Europe records Gerwyn Price as 2021 World Darts champion, not Krzysztof Ratajski.
Dirk van Duijvenbode to win (+8000)
“That brings me to my last pick, Dirk Van Dwevenboad at 80-1. Van Dwevenboad is fresh off a runner-up finish at the Grand Prix of darts in which he lost to Gerwin Price, so he's shown he can kind of dust up with the big boys in a big tournament.”
